2/2/2025 -2/7/2025 | Tibia Adventures in Music presents the Next Level Recorder Retreat with Tish Berlin and Frances Blaker. The Next Level Recorder Retreat is a workshop aimed toward recorder players at intermediate level and above who want to immerse themselves in technique, special topic classes, and consort sessions that will help them improve their playing skills and musicianship. Our aim is to provide the tools you need to play music expressively, with facility and passion. The Next Level Recorder Retreat 2025 will take place at The Bishop’s Ranch just outside of Healdsburg California in the beautiful rolling hills of Sonoma County, part of California’s wine country. The nearest airport to Healdsburg is Santa Rosa (STS) Airport which is 7.8 miles away. 2/11/2025 -2/14/2025 | The Old Avoca Schoolhouse in Avoca, Nebraska will be streaming three on line Irish Fiddle Tunes for Two Workshops for violins, violas, cellos, basses, mandolins, soprano recorder, and alto recorder. The workshop will explore tunes from our Irish Fiddle Tunes for Two book. This collection features 32 reels, hornpipes, polkas, jigs, and waltzes, arranged for two instruments, with chord symbols for guitar accompaniment.
