Lutenists, wind and string players, harpists and players of other soft

instrument – join the Abella Harp Consort for a mixed consort workshop

focused on music of the sixteenth century: frottolas, madrigals, dances, etc.

Explore the rich and varied sonorities that come with combining

instruments from different families. The Consort members have tips on

arranging for mixed ensembles; classes will work on phrasing and

interpretation to bring out the inherent beauty of this music.
