Second Level Beginners' Class with Vicki Boeckman: Continuing Technique (soprano/tenor recorder)
4/5/2022 - 4/15/2022

Event Description
Have  you taken one of our ARS Online Classes for Beginners?  Are you ready for the next step? Join professional recorder teacher and player, Vicki Boeckman, for a Second Level class.

From Vicki:  "My intent is to strengthen and support any foundational skills that you have already gained in the beginners’ course. Using my own exercises and materials we will review breath control, tone quality, body comfort, articulation diversity and finger dexterity, with special focus on left hand thumb technique and how to achieve success playing notes in the upper registers. Attendees are expected to be relatively comfortable with most of the fingerings on the soprano or tenor and to be able to read music adequately. I welcome you all whole-heartedly and will do my best to answer any questions and address your individual and group needs."

This class is available at no charge to ARS members, only. When registering, use the email address associated with your ARS membership. If you are not an ARS member, you may click HERE to join.  Teachers are paid thanks to donations to the Recorder Artist Relief Fund.  These classes are limited in size to allow for interaction between the teacher and students. If you have already taken two or more of our Second Level classes, please wait until one week prior to the start of class to sign up, in order to allow a larger number of people to take advantage of these opportunities.
