The Magic Flute” (Die Zauberflöte, K. 620) is one of Mozart’s most famous operas, and contains one of his most famous arias, "Der Hölle Rache" (Hell's Vengeance) for coloratura soprano. In this rage aria from Act 2, full of musical stabbing gestures, the Queen of the Night gives a knife to her daughter Pamina, and orders her to kill Sarastro with it, a high priest who has betrayed her.

This arrangement was created using Mozart's own manuscript (available at imslp.org), and features the tiny sopranino recorder in the starring role. The vocal line runs throughout its entire range without any modifications needed, it fits perfectly on an F instrument. The top orchestral voice is Alto, so the sopranino can soar an octave above the rest.

Audio recording is the concert performance of the Barbary Coast Recorder Orchestra in March 2023, Glen Shannon conducting. https://voicesofmusic.org/bcro.html
