"Providence Raptors" is a stunning and fascinating book by nature photographer Peter Green. With his blessing, I am composing a suite of pieces, each of which  is inspired by a different vignette in the book. "Eyas" (which means a falcon nestling) is the first installment of this suite. The story it reflects is that of a plucky newborn falcon who was rescued from almost certain death.
