Another short, approachable arrangement of the popular Renaissance tune-cum-Christmas carol, with a vocal line that can be played on a tenor, or alto/bass reading up the octave. The arranger injects interesting rhythmic and harmonic accompaniment in the upper part, keeping both lines engaging. It would be a perfect addition to a holiday program, but the originally secular melody is really suitable any time of year.
