Daphne is a well known 17th century English folk air. It appeared in print in Playford's "The English Dancing Master" (1651) and in Dutch composer Jacob van Eyck's "Der Fluyten Lust-Hof" (c. 1644). My arrangement contains countermelodies, variations and harmonies of the simple tune arranged in three part counterpoint.
