Event Description
This playing session explores the development of harmony and counterpoint from the late Renaissance to the present day. We'll play dance music by 16th-century composers Giorgio Mainerio, Pierre Attaingnant, Gaumi, and Cabezon, then jump 200 years ahead to a trio sonata for three alto recorders by Johann Mattheson. We'll conclude the session with a new piece for ATTB by composer and wind player Owen G. Davitt.

We have announcements approximately 5-10 minutes before the hour and the music begins at 2:00 pm eastern. 
 
Cost: NAVRS Membership is $20 per year and each playing meeting is $15.
