The American Recorder Society (ARS) has established the ARS Educational Outreach Grant (EOG), a grant to help support music education for the recorder, with priority given to those teaching in underserved elementary and secondary schools. EOG also supports extracurricular K-12 recorder programs.

Priority is given but not limited to funding the following types of requests:
This grant is funded by The Sondra Thompson Outreach Fund, Jennifer Barron Southcott, The Recorder Teachers Fund, and the Educational Outreach Grant Fund.

Deadline: Applications are accepted every year from April 15-June 15 for funds to be used during the school year beginning in the fall of the same calendar year as the application.Your application will be reviewed by the ARS after June 15. Grants awarded typically range from $100-$500. Please complete the following application and submit with all supporting materials. Grant awards are made out to organizations rather than to individuals, and checks are mailed in early September.
