Join us as we explore Georg Philipp Telemann’s duets for alto recorders. Technically challenging and musically very satisfying, these sonatas embody late Baroque elegance. Topics covered are tone, intonation, phrasing, and ornamentation. (Pitch A = 440) Participants must purchase “The Berlin Duos” by Georg Philipp Telemann, published by Dolce DOL 705. If you have difficulty acquiring the music, please contact the teacher.
