Online Event

Description:
Greetings from the Ann Arbor Recorder Society!  We’d like to invite you to attend our April 5 meeting, which will be held on Zoom from 7:30-9:00pm.  The meeting will be led by Annette Bauer, who will join us from Montreal. We were able to hire Annette thanks to a generous 'virtual session' grant from the American Recorder Society.

Theme:  Spring has sprung: a spring flower bouquet of music!

Since our playing session falls on Easter Monday, Annette has chosen pieces related to spring, Easter, nature’s rebirth after winter, and the songs of birds. A fresh spring bouquet of music by composers such as Landini, Josquin, Lassus, Walsh, and from the late 16th century Finnish song book Piae Cantiones.
