Online Class - The Art of the Trio Sonata with Flying Forms & Clea Galhano

Working together, all members of the ensemble will lead participants through selected movements of trio sonatas, from 17^th century to high baroque. They will note the different styles of each period and and highlight the captivating aspects of each part in the sonatas as well as the connections between the parts. Open to all melody and continuo instrumentalists. Pitch: A=415.

Music selected will be appropriate to the mix of instruments among registrants. Music will be provided ahead of time and will be marked with the ensemble’s figures for bass parts, breath and bowing marks, and important articulation.
