Description:
The Princeton Recorder Society's annual fundraising event this year is a special recorder masterclass featuring by Lewis R. Baratz. Participants in the class will receive 1/2 of technical and stylistic coaching on a work of their choice. Auditors will benefit from watching the coaching sessions of 4 recorder players of different levels. The fee to be a full participant is $30 (limited to four persons); auditors are $15. This is a special event and is open to all interested persons including recorder players, players of other instruments, singers, and fans of early music. Lewis R. Baratz, Ph.D. is a recorder player, harpsichordist, and music historian. He leads the Highland Park Recorder Society's early music seminar series, is artistic director of La Fiocco, and directors chamber ensembles at Lafayette College. This class is offered to benefit the Princeton Recorder Society.
