This set of three classes will focus on the Italian style in sonatas for, or transcribed for, recorder and basso continuo by Corelli, Handel and Mancini. Learn about the structure, harmonies, forms, patterns and more. Discover how this information can lead you to a wealth of expressive options. Use all your recorder skills to bring forth your own unique story through each piece.
Class no. 1 (Jan. 13): Slow movements
Class no. 2 (Jan. 27): Quick movements
Class no. 3 (Feb. 3): Bringing it All Together
Information about the specific pieces to be used will be given to those who enroll.
