Workshop

The Bloom Early Music Workshop will be held in-person September 3-5, 2021, at the historic St. Matthew Lutheran Church in the heart of downtown Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.  This year's theme, "Return Fond Muse," celebrates the return to making music with others.

Participants and faculty must be fully vaccinated.  Distancing and safety rules that adhere to CDC guidelines and state and local guidelines will be observed.  The workshop organizers reserve the right to limit the number of accepted registrants for workshop safety and/or efficacy.

Friday, September 3
4:00–6:00 PM, Check in at St. Matthew Lutheran Church; potluck dinner and social time
7:00–8:30 PM, Large group playing session

Saturday, September 4
7:30–8:45 AM, Light breakfast of pastries, coffee, and juice
9:00–10:30 AM, 1st class session
11:00 AM–12:30 PM, 2nd class session
12:30–2:00 PM, Lunch at the church
2:00–3:30 PM, 3rd class session
4:00–5:00 PM, Guided ensemble playing
5:00–7:00 PM, Dinner on your own (not included in workshop package)
7:30–9:00 PM, Large group playing session

Sunday, September 5
8:30–9:45, Light breakfast of pastries, coffee, and juice
10:15 AM-12:30 PM, Large group playing session with workshop performance to close
