Please join the St Louis Recorder Society for our springtime full day workshop, led by Anne Timberlake!

For the Birds

The recorder has long been renowned for its sweet, bird-like timbre.  We’ll take full advantage of its melodious capabilities as we sample several centuries’ worth of music about birds. Tweet the old-fashioned way!

TENTATIVE schedule:

Session One: 9-10:30

Session Two: 10:45-12:00

Lunch: 12-1:15

Session Three: 1:15-2:30

Session Four: 2:45-3:45

Please remember to bring a music stand!

We will provide coffee and water throughout the day. You may bring your own lunch (fridge available), but we also plan on doing a group order of sandwiches (included in the $75 cost).

As an added attraction, we will have a music and instrument sell/swap table - bring items that you would like to offer to others!

We will send the music out via email about a week before the workshop for you to print and review at home. We will have a limited number of printed copies available.

The cost for the full day workshop is $75.
