Hybrid (in-person and online)

Are you a beginner recorder player eager to play more but unsure of your skills? Or an intermediate player feeling a little nervous about joining a group? Did you take the summer off from recorder and want to blow the dust off of your skills before fall workshops and playing meetings and rehearsals? If so, this workshop is for you!

Join Karen Epp for a supportive and engaging two-hour session focused on the fundamentals of recorder playing. The workshop will move at a relaxed pace, helping you build confidence and enjoy the music. You’ll learn how to warm up effectively, develop your technique, play comfortably in a group (without getting lost!), and most importantly—how to relax and enjoy making music on this beautiful instrument.
