Reviews:
“These tunes are, in the arranger’s words, ‘Great for challenging the status quo’. ln these songs and dances, expect the unexpected; a ‘crooked tune’ might have irregular beats, or three sections, unexpected chord changes, so it would be more difficult to follow in a jam session or in a dance, for example. This album is a welcome addition to Greenblatt’s valuable resource of flexible compatible duet arrangements for any two string instruments.”
