Event Description

A Workshop for Baroque Ensembles Focusing on 17th Century Music
with the Members of In Stile Moderno

Musicians of the 17th century, moving away from the polyphonic ‘Stile Antico,’ began to embrace a ‘Stile Moderno.’ Spend the day exploring music of this period and perfecting your ensemble technique with the expert members of In Stile Moderno (Agnes Coakley CoxNathaniel CoxDan Meyers, and Cameron Welke). Come with your own baroque ensemble or we’ll match you up.
