Chicago Chapter January 2025 Meeting

Event Type(s)
Chapter Meeting
Event Description
Join us on Sunday January 19 at 2 PM for our next meeting.

We need to adjust our plans for our January meeting.  A funeral is planned for the sanctuary at 2 PM, and then a reception to follow downstairs.  That means that we will need to move to a different room for our first hour of playing, and then to the sanctuary for the rest of our meeting.  We’re sorry about this sudden change of plans, but we are new to St. John’s, and an oversight like this early in our relationship with the ministry doesn’t surprise me.  We should be able to avoid schedule conflicts like this in the future.  When you arrive, enter the building as you normally would and head to the lower level.

Nancy Chabala will lead us for our first hour, and then Lisette will lead us until 5 PM.

The music for Sunday is available on our web site:

One more event coming up.  Lee Newcomer, the owner of the Performer’s Music store in the Fine Arts Building, died last August.  The store is offering a free memorial concert for Lee at the Studebaker Theater, 410 South Michigan Avenue, on Wednesday February 5 at 7 PM.
