ARS introduces a Free Online Beginners’ Course! Lay a solid foundation for learning to play recorder for your own enjoyment or for making music with others! In this four-week Zoom course beginning January 7th, we'll cover fundamentals of recorder technique like finger technique, breathing, blowing, and tonguing, emphasizing knowledge that will help you continue to make progress after the course is over. Whether you've never played before or it's been forever since you've picked up an instrument, now is the time to develop good habits and begin to make music! Professional recorder teacher and performer Anne Timberlake will lead you through this course and help you build good recorder technique from the start.
