Event Description
Sonatas are an important part of instrumental repertoire. This workshop will focus on G.F. Handel’s Sonata in F Major, Op.1, No.11 (HWV 369) and address aspects of approaching a Baroque sonata.

Recommended level: Intermediate and above
Cost: $75 per 3-week session

These sessions will focus on:
Style
Articulation
Trills and ornamentation
Form, keys
Strategies for practice

This sonata fits the range for alto recorder (in F), flutes and oboes. There are also parts available for C soprano recorder.
