The 21st annual Midwinter Workshop with early and newer music for Recorders, Brass, Viols and other early instruments will be held at Dickerson Middle School in Marietta, GA. This workshop is co-sponsored by the Atlanta chapter of the American Recorder Society (ARS-Atlanta) and the Atlanta Early Music Alliance (AEMA), and encouraged by regional members of the Viola da Gamba Society (VdGSA).

Faculty this year areJody Miller, Pat Petersen, Anne Timberlake, Stew Carter, Gail Ann Schroeder, and Holly Maurer. All sessions are at 440 pitch. The Workshop will open Friday evening with an all-play session. On Saturday, we will have a variety of topic-based sessions for which you can sign up, followed by an all winds session and an all viols session. We will close on Sunday morning with another all-play session. Registration is now open at https://www.atlema.org/mid-winter-workshop. Registration is $200 for all three days, and includes lunch on Saturday and snacks. Scholarships for intermediate or advanced players aged 14 or above are available subject to approval upon a personal or teacher request.
