Event Description

ARS Online Beginners’ Classes for Alto Recorder with Lewis Baratz

ARS introduces our next Free Online Beginner’s course for alto recorder. An ideal instrument for people looking forward to the social experience of playing with others, the recorder is also a flexible instrument for playing music from the Middle Ages to the present day.  Most people can learn the basics and start playing in a relatively short time.

Lewis Baratz’s classes will be held:

Thursday, August 13, 7:30 PM ET (6:30 CT, 5:30 MT, 4:30 PT)
Thursday, August 20, 7:30 PM ET (6:30 CT, 5:30 MT, 4:30 PT)
Thursday, August 27, 7:30 PM ET (6:30 CT, 5:30 MT, 4:30 PT)
Thursday, September 3, 7:30 PM ET (6:30 CT, 5:30 MT, 4:30 PT)

The course is geared to students of all ages, but children 12 and under should be joined by an adult during the class.
