New Music for Recorder Downloadable Music Library

The ARS is pleased to offer downloadable contemporary music written specifically for recorder players. These are original works for recorder (and potentially other instruments), with occasional arrangements or transcriptions of previous works. These composers’ submissions are available to logged-in ARS members by clicking on the provided links below. Non-members may view a preview and listen to a sound sample, if available. We hope you enjoy playing and sharing these pieces! Please observe any copyright limitations requested by the composer.

You may use the Composition Share Link, found on each piece, to share this music with your friends. Note that anyone may see the thumbnail image and listen to the sound sample, but only logged-in ARS members may download music or listen to the entire .mp3 recording.

Look for Play Along opportunities! For some of these pieces, composers have provided Play Along accompaniment tracks, including keyboard accompaniment, percussion accompaniment, or one or more additional recorder parts. Find these by selecting "Recorded Accompaniment" in the Style search field.
