Inspired by an autumnal walk, this first fugal foray by the composer examines counterpoint and imitation while presenting a self-contained story arc through sound imagery. While exploring the fugue as a compositional framework, Mr. Bohbot also weaves into the musical fabric rhythmic cross-relations created by overlaying three beats against two.
