I live where one can often hear the nighttime calls of trains fleeing the city.
Far and Away reflects on this distant pleasure. Please be sure to honor the comma breath marks throughout, most particularly in the hooting baseline.

The Far and Away Trio includes three parts:
Far and Away, Part 1  Members Library Editions #64
And No Umbrella, Part 2  New Music Library
Close Quarters, Part 3  New Music Library

Low recorder consorts have a special desirable quality to their sound, washing over the listener with a calming reassurance that’s often lacking in high-octave settings. The story arc presented here of trains in the distance evokes a feeling of contemplative well-being, like viewing the crescent moon through the window from the warmth of a down comforter.
