Chapter Meeting

The New York Recorder Guild is pleased to welcome Teresa Deskur to lead our first meeting of the season on September 12. Teresa performs music on historical winds from the Middle Ages to present day. She balances a love for early music with a zeal for performing contemporary and classical works, eager to highlight music that both teaches us about the past and celebrates current innovations.

NYRG meetings take place in St. Joseph's Hall at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 145 West 46th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan, from 1:30–3:30 p.m. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. The music for each session is shared with members two weeks in advance of the meeting.

As always, drop-in players are very welcome; the rate for non-members is $30 per session. 

Standard Membership – $50

• Membership for the season (September–June)
• Reduced meeting rate of $20 per meeting

Season Membership – $180

• Membership for the season (September–June)
• Prepaid admission to all nine monthly meetings
• Saves $50 compared with paying the member rate at each meeting
• No need to pay for individual meetings during the season
