The Pensacola Early Music Festival will take place November 11-13, 2022 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church. The cost is $60.00 to cover the cost of music and food during the weekend (Friday evening, Saturday noon and Sunday noon).This is a weekend to prepare a concert to show off the recorder orchestra and the Renaissance Band. Pensacola is open to new sounds and over the past few years the Pensacola Early Music Consort has worked to present early instruments in concert to showcase music from the Mediaeval, Renaissance and Baroque periods. We have also included works from the Celtic tradition and works of modern composers for early instruments. I hope you can come and brings others with you. The Pensacola Early Music Consort is the sponsoring organization. Attached is our planned program. We can send you music in advance should you decide to come. We will rehearse on Friday evening, Saturday morning through early afternoon, and then give a concert on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
