Online Event

This class will focus on the skills of playing in an ensemble. You!ll play along with me on duos, and on 3-,4-, and 5-part pieces with my GarageBand recordings. Each week we’ll explore one or two pieces from the perspective of the following ensemble skills: Tuning, keeping a steady pulse, learning to subdivide, playing alto up an octave, playing the recorder expressively. Geared to intermediate players but all who would like to develop stronger ensemble skills are welcome. Pitch: A=440. Participants should be able to play at least one F recorder and one C recorder and be familiar with most fingerings.

10:00 am – 11:30 am Pacific/1:00 pm – 2:30 pm Eastern.
October 4, 11, and 18
Take all three or as many as you like.
Each individual class is $25.00.
Each class will be recorded for study and for those who can’t attend the live Zoom class.
