April 2-3 “Byrd, Bach, and Beyond,” Amherst Early Music Spring Break Workshop, at St. George’s Episcopal Church, Arlington, VA. Director: Letitia Berlin.
Faculty: Rainer Beckmann and Letitia Berlin, recorder; Rosamund Morley, viola da gamba; Mark Cudek, lute; Richard Giarusso, chorus. Music by J.S. Bach, Byrd, Duarte, Sweelinck, Lassus, more.
Players of Renaissance recorders will have one session each day devoted to their instrument.
