Description:World-renowned Bay Area Early Music performance organization Voices of Music is  thrilled to announce our return to the stage after over a year-long hiatus from in-person concerts. We will be focusing on smaller ensembles, and specifically showcasing violin concertos in our 3-concert series. If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area we invite you to subscribe and be immersed in the luscious sounds of our in-person performances. We are hoping that if the circumstances and protocols for CoViD-19 permit it, we will incorporate selections that include the recorder. 

If you can't attend in person, we invite you to visit our very popular YouTube channel to enjoy high definition videos of highlights from performances and special events. Our channel recently surpassed 100 million views! There you will find many selections featuring the recorder:

December 17, 18, and 19, 2021:
             Holiday Concertos: Bach, Corelli & more
             Voices of Music returns to the stage with our signature holiday program of virtuoso concertos, including the Bach violin concerto in A Minor BWV 1041 performed by Rachell Ellen Wong.

February 18, 19, and 20, 2022:
             Musica Transalpina: Chamber music from Italy and England
              The Italians invented the violin, perfected its music, and travelled everywhere. An enchanting evening of Uccellini, Marini, Corelli, Matteis, Purcell & Handel.
              Featuring soloists Elizabeth Blumenstock & Augusta McKay Lodge.

March 25, 26, and 27, 2022:
             The Art of the Violin: Vivaldi, Geminiani & Handel
             18th century solo and ensemble concertos, including the Vivaldi violin concerto in A Minor RV 356 performed by Augusta McKay Lodge.

Each concert in our season will be performed at 3 locations: Palo Alto, Berkeley, and San Francisco. Children ages 7 and up are welcome with proof of vaccination.

We are offering subscriptions only. Should there still be seats available we'll open up single ticket sales online and by phone two weeks in advance of the concert. There will be no ticket sales at the venues, so please plan ahead.
