Event Description
We will discuss and read through many of the dances in Tielman Susato's 1551 publication Danserye.  This will be a crash-course in dances and will be appropriate for musicians wishing to improve Renaissance dance style, musicians looking for some concentrated ensemble playing, or upper intermediate musicians looking to branch out to different sizes of recorders.  This class should help intermediate musicians with few chances to play with others or musicians who are new(er) to the recorder and need to learn some basic Renaissance performance practice.
