Jean Hein, baroque recorders
Join us for our twelfth annual summer master classes for baroque recorder players meeting four consecutive Monday evenings beginning July 6th. The online zoom sessions will feature recorder duets by G. P. Telemann, Jacques Hotteterre, Giuseppi Sammartini, and more. Through the magic of online muting you will be able to play the top part, and I will play the bottom part, which will create the full duet experience for you. Together we will discover great variety in the musical styles of the duets. Each duet will be part of a larger set of published duets, so by sampling just a few you will learn about many more pieces. We will find resources for duet listing and playing along with experts online to keep you happily practicing all summer and beyond.
