We are delighted to announce that Debra Nagy, recorder player and well-known baroque oboist and singer, has agreed to lead our annual Spring Workshop which will feature medieval repertoire.

Debra will be in Vancouver to perform with the vocal group Blue Heron in a presentation of Machaut’s Remede de Fortune as part of Early Music Vancouver’s Cathedral series.

Details:Fee Members $50.00; non-members $60.00 (Canadian funds)
Program The Workshop will include Technique, Ensemble playing, a Repertoire session (a Machaut Mass or a Cicconia motet, for example) and a Masterclass.  The masterclass is intended for small ensembles with 1 to a part, and the music will not be limited to any specific period.  Participants can choose between playing or observing.  
Playing level  Intermediate II to Advanced players
