The event is a gathering of musicians to prepare for a concert on November 11, 2018 at 3:00 pm at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 3200 N. 12th Avenue, Pensacola, Florida 32503. The event is sponsored by the Pensacola Early Music Consort and the church. The concert will feature a Renaissance orchestra including recorders, viols, krummhorns, sackbuts, and percussion as well as a double choir of voices. The repetoire will include early English and early other European composers as well as a couple of contemporary works and a surprise piece to conclude the concert. Musicians from Atlanta, GA, Jackson, MS and Nashville, TN have already registered. The cost is $60 which includes meals on Friday evening, Saturday noon and Sunday noon and the music book. The music book is ready to be sent upon registration. Please make checks out to St. Christopher's Episcopal Church and put on the memo line "Early Music Festival."
