Registrants should be\nexperienced ensemble players, comfortable singing or playing one on a part.\n\Details:\nThe workshop will be at A= 440. Music will be provided ahead of time in modern notation and\nlute tablature. The day offers four class sessions with a final all-workshop performance of\nexcerpts from Machaut’s Messe de Nostre Dame and Dufay’s Missa Ave Regina Caelorum.\nClasses on medieval theory, performance practice, or medieval music notation may be offered.\nWe will group registrants into compatible mixed ensembles that may include (depending onregistration) singers, recorders, lutes and viols.
