If you are new to playing with others, still shaky with keeping the beat, unfamiliar with counting the half note as getting the beat (hello, Renaissance music!), and still getting used to the sound of others playing around you, then this course is for you. Designed for advanced beginners/low intermediate players on soprano, alto, and tenor recorders (if you have taken the ARS Beginners’ Class and 2nd-Level Class, then you are ready for this course), this 3-part course will help you with developing your counting skills, your listening skills, and prepare you to play with your local ARS chapters and affable recorder-playing friends!
