Or maybe you played recorder years ago and are ready to return to it in a friendly, low-pressure environment.  Join our brand new Recorder Foundations and Beyond class, taught by experienced instructor Andrea MacDonald. This class is designed specifically for adults with little to no experience — just curiosity, a sense of play, and a love of music.  \n\nThis amazing course is 12 weeks long and registration is now open!\Details:\nGoals:\n\n	Mastery of all basic fingerings (2 octaves)\n	Familiarity with the three most common keys in recorder music (C, F, G)\n	Development of solid breath support and tone production\n	Ability to count and articulate rhythms\n	Introduction to simple trills\n	Road mapping through scores and common musical symbols\n\n\nClass Format:\n\n\n	12 weeks of instruction in hybrid format\n	The first class of each month will be held in-person and over Zoom, running concurrently with the BCRS Monthly Meeting (2 hours)\n	The remaining three weeks in the month will be over Zoom only (1 hour)\n\nWhile you’re welcome to attend all classes over Zoom, joining the in-person sessions is strongly recommended, if possible.
