A retreat for upper intermediate to advanced recorder players who want to work intensively on technique and musical skills. Classes offered include:

• Articulation - technique and application in music
• Finger facility - exercises and drills to improve security and agility
• Breathing and Blowing - development of breath control and tone
• Sight reading and playing by ear - methods and exercises to improve your skills
• Keeping Your Place and Rhythm Training - repertoire chosen to fully incorporate these skills into your playing
• Consort repertoire and ad hoc playing sessions
• Special Topics based on participants' requests
• Lecture/discussions on music history and musical forms
